1.  2018 Ag Oktoberfest - Sublimity, Oregon

Bring the family to the Sublimity Harvest Festival grounds on October 4 from noon to 7pm for a day of hands.on machine demonstrations, food, and fun! Anyone who wants to learn more about the latest ag equipment from Caterpillar, CLAAS, Fendt, Trimble, and other top manufacturers is invited--there will be activities for the whole family! 2.  2018 Portland Greek Festival - Portland, Oregon

3.  Oregon's Bounty - Salem, Oregon
Saturday Oct 6, 2018 at 10 AM – 2 PM
the 4th annual celebration of the agricultural harvest at this year's Oregon's Bounty! The Capitol will open up on Saturday, October 6th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We will host activities, music, exhibits, free face painting, a free pumpkin patch and more!!
This is a free event. Parking is free around the Capitol on the weekends. RAIN OR SHINE!
Tours to the top of the Capitol are offered at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. weather permitting, capacity controlled.




4.  Free Ornament Making Stations - Salem, Oregon
Saturday Oct 6, 2018 at 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Come and help us make tree ornaments to decorate the US Capitol Christmas Tree. This year the US Forest Service has chosen Willamette National Forest to provide the national tree. The 80-foot tree will take the reverse Oregon Trail and then make its way to Washington DC. The citizens of Oregon are invited to make ornaments to decorate this tree. We will provide the materials. These events are free and open to the public.

6.  Albany Sand Drags Points Race - Albany, Oregon
Oct 6, 2018
Albany Motorsports hosts the 2018 Summer Sand Drag Racing series. This event hosts cars, trucks, quads, and other vehicles for bracket and heads up drag racing. Whether you are 4 years old or 84 we have a class for you.


7.  WV Daddy Daughter Dance - Albany, Oregon
Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:30
The goal of the event is to provide a fun and memorable experience that will strengthen the relationships of fathers (or uncles, grandpas, brothers, etc.) and daughters in our community while raising awareness and funds for Operation Underground Railroad (www.ourrescue.org), with an ultimate goal of raising $10,000 towards the rescue and recovery of children caught in the nightmare of sex trafficking. The 1st Annual Willamette Valley Daddy Daughter Dance will take place on Saturday, October 6 from 6:00-8:30pm at 2110 Santiam Hwy SE (Jesus Pursuit Church). Join us for an evening of dancing, dessert, games, crafts, princesses and more.

8. Silverton Sidewalk Shindig 2018

On the first Saturday on October, the streets of historic downtown Silverton come alive with over 100 hours of FREE, live music! Silverton Sidewalk Shindig will fill the streets with Big band, jazz, reggae, rock n roll, classical, boogie-woogie, blues, country, and everything in between! Family freindly event! Face painting, caricature artist and more!


9. Home Depot Kids Workshop - Local Home Depots in Oregon
Saturday Oct 6, 2018 - 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Kids Celebrate National Fire Safety Month in our hands-on workshop where you and your child can build a model fireboat to put out shoreline or shipboard fires and transport emergency personnel and rescue workers.


10. Owls of the Pacific Northwest Workshop - Salem, Oregon
Saturday Oct 6, 2018 at 10 AM – 12 PM
$10 with all proceeds going to Salem Audubon Society
Owls have captivated the imagination of mankind for centuries, symbolizing everything from evil and death to wisdom and protection. In this workshop we dive into the classification, biology and conservation of these nocturnal birds. Can’t tell a Great Horned Owl from a Long-eared Owl? We also learn the identification of owls by sight and sound.

Gabe with Agape Skateboards will be putting on a skateboarding clinic at The Edge this Saturday.
Come to see and learn some amazing tricks, and gain some sic skateboarding skills.

Rollerskating!!! Two rink areas: advanced (fast!) rink and a smaller beginner area. Beginner area is well lit and parents can walk the floor with their skater. Some over-the-shoe Fisher Price skates and walkers (additional $1 fee) for the littles. Some snacks available. Can bring your own skates but no brakes on the inlines allowed.
$5.50 entrance fee. Non-skating parents are free. 
Credit/debit cards for admission fee, but bring cash for snacks, walkers, glowsticks, etc.
